Eva Longoria is an American actress who is best known for her role as model Gabrielle Solis in the hit ABC comedy drama, Desperate Housewives. Born in Texas, she was raised a Roman Catholic by her two Tejano parents. She originally wanted to be a model, but was rejected because of her height.
